Today, 2nd September 2025, GALDO-RLO, a proud member of DARLON, successfully organized a Community Clean-Up Engagement in collaboration with dedicated community volunteers.
The initiative targeted heavily littered dumping sites across Section E, parts of Section D, and several roads that had been blocked by heaps of waste.
Unlike the common practice of burning waste in the camps, GALDO-RLO introduced an innovative approach, segregating plastic waste for transformation into usable resources, while ensuring the remaining waste was disposed of at designated sites.
This marks a groundbreaking shift towards sustainable waste management within the community.

This exercise not only restored hygiene and accessibility but also demonstrated the power of innovation in tackling environmental challenges.
